Route description

The archival 2016 Sotnya preserves an ambitious winter idea: from Nekrasovskaya, the passage first heads far west, meets the Klubish and reaches the Morozki side of the Moscow Canal. A different chapter then begins — an eastern woodland arc with the Yakhroma and a northern return towards Morozki. In this version, the western extent is especially noticeable before the long eastern continuation. The author marks the direction as outdated and says that the former passage is no longer possible in some places. Today it is an interesting part of Moscow-region skiing history and a basis for exploring individual authorised sections; do not repeat the entire old line without newly checked connections.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
Explore the 2016 ski idea in which a far western arc and a return through the Yakhroma meet at Morozki. For an independent visit, select specific locations with checked access: the historic direction’s unity does not establish present passability.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
An archival ski version for experienced independent travellers. A complete passage today is unconfirmed. Suitable sections for children, dogs and bicycles are separately unestablished. Do not plan the entire old woodland passage with a stroller; continuous reception is unknown.

Nearby

The 2017 version has another western approach and additional Klubish encounters; it does not replace this version. Later circles in the Radonezh system also belong to a separate family. Historic Radonezh village, Abramtsevo museum and sports bases are unconfirmed as visits on this line. Treat former finishing fires and events as history rather than current service.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
The historical start belongs to Nekrasovskaya on the Savyolovsky direction. Morozki appears on the intermediate side and is the railway reference for returning after the northern arc. The final canal side needs a separate authorised approach to the required platform. Check selected trains and the present canal crossing before planning an independent section.
By car
When exploring an authorised section, agree specific drop-off and collection places. The former Nekrasovskaya-to-Morozki format does not establish vehicle access to woodland connections or streams today. Plan delivery at different endings and return to a left car independently of former club stops.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Ask whether you may leave a vehicle at the chosen Nekrasovskaya or Morozki location for the entire visit. A roadside meeting place does not establish permission for a longer vehicle stay.

What to expect

Places
Klubish on the western arc The woodland stream appears beyond the far western section, before the turn towards Morozki. It is an actual water location on the historical line; establish today’s permitted, safe crossing independently.
Yakhroma on the northern return The Yakhroma appears repeatedly on the eastern section and again on the northern return. The small river links different woodland sides of the historic journey, with separate conditions at each crossing.
Moscow Canal at Morozki The same canal location appears before the eastern loop and at the ending. It marks the change from the western approach to the large woodland arc; a present permitted canal crossing is unconfirmed.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 1126 м.
SurfaceDirt 16%, Asphalt 7%, Improved surface 5%, Unknown 65%.
Риски The author explicitly says that parts of the old direction are no longer passable. Check present connections on the western section, eastern continuation and northern return; do not bypass fences through private land. Every Klubish and Yakhroma encounter needs independent assessment; a present authorised canal crossing is unestablished. Published history confirms neither clearance, bridges nor safe ice. Choose a checked accessible section before an independent outing.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 20 h 1 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
The original idea was a one-day ski outing, but a confirmed modern duration for the whole passage is unavailable. Historical results and control limits do not define today’s plan. For the chosen permitted section, allow for daylight, river approaches, returning to the road and a train. Working overnight places, food and assistance at former stops are unestablished.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
The historical version is for winter skiing. Settled snow helps on a chosen woodland section, but neither opens developed connections nor confirms ice crossings. Reconsider the plan after thaw or in poor visibility. A continuous summer version of this old line is unestablished.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
For the chosen winter section: sound skis, bindings and a repair kit.
Clothing for moving and pauses, spare dry items and wind protection.
Your own food, drinking water and hot drink; former food stops are not confirmed working services.
A map of authorised connections, phone, reserve power, light and first aid.
Checked water crossings and a way to finish the section chosen beforehand.
