Route description

Klimovsk’s Green Circuit offers a compact ski outing in the eastern part of the local woodland. Choose it for independent skiing between the trees, returning to a familiar area without a long traverse through the entire forest. Set a relaxed pace, pause beside the skiing passage and repeat the familiar lap when snow conditions allow. The Green Circuit has its own course and approach; it should not be replaced by the neighbouring Red Circuit or western skating loops. Establish a permitted forest entrance and current snow preparation before travelling. Rental, lighting and a heated starting building are unconfirmed, so bring your own equipment.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Use Vesennyaya railway stop on the Kursk direction as your arrival base. A separate approach or local transfer is needed towards the eastern woodland circuits; the railway stop is not at the start. Choose a permitted entrance and check trains and return arrangements beforehand. A short skiing lap does not imply a short walk from the train.
By car
Arrange a drop-off on an accessible road near the eastern woodland side, followed by a permitted approach to the start. Through vehicle access to the ski loop is unconfirmed. Obtain the owner’s permission before using allotment or private entrances.
Parking
Parking at the start is unconfirmed. Establish a permitted location separately. Keep woodland entrances, neighbouring properties and snow-clearing access clear.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 17 м.
SurfaceDirt 14%, Unknown 86%.
Риски Suitable snow and confidently identifying the continuation at forest junctions are essential. The green name does not replace local assessment of descents and bends. Slow down on ice and protect skis from exposed roots early in the season. Pause beside the course without obstructing other skiers. Children need an adult confident in controlling the outing.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 33 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Allow separate time for the transport approach, relaxed skiing and the woodland return. No verified complete duration exists. Begin with one lap and decide on a repeat after assessing time and energy. Retain daylight, as working lighting on this circuit is unconfirmed.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Choose a winter day with enough settled snow. Fresh snow, thaw and subsequent frost affect skiing differently; check actual conditions before travelling. Current preparation for classic or skating technique needs confirmation. A snow-free walk requires separate checks of the surface and permitted use.
