Route description

Sergiyev Posad and Gremyachy Klyuch unfold here through several different walks. The town side introduces Krasnogorskaya Square and the Trinity Lavra’s outer walls. The suburban passage starts beside Olen Spring, meets the Torgosha and gradually reaches woodland and rural roads. On the eastern side of the visit stands the wooden Life-Giving Spring Gate Church at Gremyachy Klyuch’s entrance. For an unhurried visit, choose the town exploration and woodland outing separately. Each needs its own arrival, pace and return journey. Combining them into a continuous passage requires checking the connecting roads; reaching the waterfall itself needs an additional visit beyond the gate church.
