Route description

Kotlovka reveals an unexpected side when you leave the avenue for its small streams and ravines. In Sosenki, apartment blocks remain above the slope while pine trees, water and walking decks take your attention. It is an inviting place to choose a bench, pause beside the stream and let the usual city hurry fade. Another part of the outing explores Korshunikha Nature Park. Connections between the parks bring you back onto residential streets before paths descend into greenery again. This is everyday Moscow viewed through its small valleys, where an unassuming ravine can hold as much interest as a famous central park. Walk the full variation in daylight, with time for pauses and stair climbs.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
With children, choose a single park section; the complete variation includes streets, stairs and repeated paths. Sosenki has a documented dog exercise area, which does not permit dogs to run loose everywhere: follow local rules and use a lead. Stairs prevent continuous cycling or stroller travel; check any safe alternative separately. Reception along the complete route has not been checked.

Nearby

The Kant sports complex is near the eastern part of the outing and can be a separate destination afterwards. Sessions, access to sports facilities and rentals depend on the operator’s arrangements; they are not included in a free walk through the park.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
The mapped Sevastopolsky Prospekt bus stop is near the start, with Remizova Street stops beside the concluding section. Their positions have been checked against the map; verify current bus numbers and timetables before leaving. The two park sections can also be visited separately using transport near a convenient entrance.
By car
Use city streets to a lawful drop-off location. Park paths and descents into the ravines belong to the walking outing. If finishing elsewhere in the district, arrange vehicle retrieval beforehand.
Parking
Dedicated parking for this variation has not been confirmed. Choose a lawful urban space according to current signs; an empty area beside a park is not permission to park.

What to expect

Places
Sosenki Park A pine park beside the Kotlovka, with riverside walking decks and stairs added during the landscaping works. Pause beside the water and rest beneath the trees.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 21 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 84%, Fine gravel 2%, Paving stones 1%, Unknown 12%.
Риски Expect stairs on the slopes, slippery wet decks, muddy unpaved branches and street crossings. Between the northern section near Shvernika Street and the continuation near Nagornaya Street, follow existing pavements and crossings: a direct shortcut through buildings is not a verified passage. Do not enter culverts or underground drainage channels. After heavy rain keep away from the stream edge.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 2 h 1 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Allow 3–4 hours for the complete variation, including the connection between park sections and pauses. One-day plan: Sosenki, continuation towards Korshunikha, the urban connection on pavements and a finish near Remizova Street. Depending on the order you select, some paths will be walked again. For a shorter outing choose one park and establish convenient entry and exit points beforehand.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Dry days from spring to late autumn work well. Summer suits pauses beneath the pines; autumn opens views into the valleys after leaves fall. Wet decks and stairs can be slippery. In winter check stair conditions and path clearance locally, and aim to finish before dark.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
Grippy footwear for stairs and unpaved paths.
Drinking water and a small snack.
Clothing for the forecast and rain protection.
A charged phone with an urban map.
