Route description

The north-eastern path to Mount Sinyukha climbs from the Lake Beloye side through woodland to a granite summit of the Kolyvan Range. Trees shelter much of the ascent: firs and pines surround the path, a spring offers a natural place to pause, and rock outcrops become more frequent higher up. Near the top, woodland gives way to granite and the surrounding foothills come into view. Sinyukha Holy Spring belongs to the local Orthodox pilgrimage tradition. The walk reaches the summit rocks; the devotional cross requires a separate short approach across the upper part of the mountain and is best considered only in settled weather. Return down the same woodland path, with another chance to stop beside the spring and notice details missed on the ascent.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 593 м.
SurfaceImproved surface 100%.
Риски Take the sustained climb at a steady pace. Soil and rocks become slippery after rain, while the upper slopes are exposed to wind. In thunderstorms or fog, turn back before entering the summit rocks. Keep away from steep edges when taking photographs. Save energy for the descent and use tick protection during the warmer months.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Time for the ascent and return about 4 hours
This is an indication for the whole outing back to the foot of the mountain. Allow additional time for pauses, the separate approach to the cross and any walk from your accommodation. Start early enough to finish the woodland descent in daylight.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
The advertised trail season is May to October. For a first ascent, choose a dry day with a settled forecast: both visibility and wind matter near the summit. In spring and autumn, ask about snow or ice on shaded sections. The organisers recommend postponing the walk after rain.
