Route description

The Bear Trail explores the wooded side of Chinetinsky Nature Sanctuary. Maralyi Rozhki invites a pause above the green slopes, while Orlinaya changes the angle and draws the eye farther across the foothills. Between the viewpoints, the walk returns beneath the trees, where distant scenery gives way to the sound of Pryamukha Stream and the detail of the forest floor. The western section passes near the caves of the Nebo area. Their names add another layer to the landscape, although an underground visit deserves a separately agreed excursion. The northern approach reaches the Yarovka valley towards Generalka. Take time to notice the woodland: an inspector can help identify things that a visitor might otherwise walk past.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - With caution With a dog - No By bike - No data With a stroller - No Mobile signal - Patchy Best suited to prepared walkers. Children need experience of a full hiking day. Published sanctuary rules prohibit dogs. Reception at an occasional lookout does not mean reliable coverage throughout the woodland.

Nearby

Nebinskaya Cave and Rozen Cave lie close to the western section: viewing their entrances requires short separate approaches, while going underground needs an agreed excursion. Ask the inspector to show you the Strazh Larch mentioned in the standard Bear Trail programme. The Wolf Trail, with its numbered observation points, is another independent walk in the same sanctuary and suits a separate day.
