Route description

These short unpaved approaches begin on the Solzan side of the Baikalsk area and head south into wooded surroundings before the Bolshaya Osinovka valley. They form a local approach with separate sections and end before reaching the river itself. Baikal’s shore, high mountain lakes and waterfalls are excluded. Check complete connections and current authorised passage. Nearby ground is associated with the former pulp mill’s waste-storage facilities: environmental work does not establish tourist access to those sites. Select accessible local roads and establish conditions on the ground; do not continue through barriers or operational sites.

Риски Check unestablished connections between unpaved sections beforehand. Rain may leave mud and slippery ground; avoid bypassing closed access through operational sites. The Federal Environmental Operator confirms separate work with the former pulp mill’s accumulated waste, so settling facilities are not presented as walking, swimming or water-collection places.
