Route description

This winter mountain approach begins on Shymbulak’s upper side. A short branch reaches Talgar Pass, then the direction returns to the southern path and ends at Bogdanovich Glacier’s ice edge beside the Oktyabrskaya Cave site. The high pass setting and specific glacier margin provide the outing’s main impressions. The departure is already high above the valley; arrange ascent and descent separately. The ice cavity’s condition and safe cave admission are unconfirmed. Local snow and avalanche assessment, mountain experience and a prepared group are essential. Observe resort-patrol warnings, barriers and restrictions.
