Route description

This historic walking line begins beside the Kairak Waterfall outlook and runs in reverse towards Batan. It follows the Orta Turgen riverside and ends beside the Batan visitor-centre building. The waterfall, mountain river and specific ending centre provide geographic landmarks. On 12 October 2026 the Demal route page reports temporary closure of the Kairak Waterfall path after the 1–3 July 2026 mudflow. Reopening confirmation was not found. Avoid planning an accessible through-walk until it is confirmed. Standard excursions from Batan begin on the opposite side and do not replace this reverse variant’s logistics.
