Route description

Leshkina Trail on the Sadykashchi side passes through the pine forest of the Shaldai branch of the Ertis Ormany reserve. A forest road links the village-side start with the road approach towards Gabdul Uakhit Khazret Mausoleum. Specific fairy-tale artworks punctuate the walk: the Hut on Chicken Legs, Frog Princess, Stove and Three Bogatyrs. They provide small reasons to pause and look more closely at the surrounding forest. Combine an introduction to this pine-forest region with finding familiar story characters. The section ends on another side of the woodland, so arrange the return beforehand. Visits take place with a reserve state inspector or guide. The mausoleum itself, its exterior grounds and an interior visit need a separate approach and agreement.
