Route description

On the western side of lower Ala-Archa, side valleys, wooded slopes and open ground rise above the main road. This direction may interest prepared visitors wanting to understand the terrain away from the popular eastern ascents. A continuous safe passage between the selected points is unconfirmed, however. Before departure, work with a local mountain guide to choose real paths and permitted water crossings. This plan concerns the western slopes beside lower Adygene. It does not reach Ratsek Hut; Ak-Sai Waterfall and the eastern mountaineering valley belong to another outing. Use this page for preliminary planning, without assuming a ready walking passage. Until the way is checked, choose an established lower park path.
