Route description

This walk reveals Boirok in the descending direction. It begins at the woodland edge in the birch-grove locality, then leaves for an open hillside and gradually approaches the road above Kashka-Suu. In autumn, pause before leaving the trees: pale foliage sets off the austere mountain slopes. Farther downhill, the bends of the path and the space of the valley draw your attention. The walk ends at the upper unpaved road, rather than in the village centre. Use it as the final part of a Boirok visit after choosing your approach to the grove and agreeing a driver meeting point. The ascent to the woodland beginning is additional. Edelweiss Waterfall belongs to a separate outing.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - With caution With a dog - No data By bike - No data With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data The walk begins above the vehicle road, so first arrange your own ascent to Boirok. With children, choose dry weather and supervise descending footing. Dog rules, uninterrupted cycle passage and reception are unestablished; a mountain path is unsuitable for a stroller.

Nearby

The main Ala-Archa park gate and Edelweiss Waterfall are separate excursions. Boirok’s larger clearing and other woodland branches need their own approach; this walk does not explore the entire locality.
