Route description

Kislovodsk’s Lower Park rewards a leisurely visit: a small walk brings together water, shaded avenues and the architecture of an older spa town. This selected circuit starts by the southern paths and returns after passing through the park’s central area. Pause beside Mirror Pond on the waterside path. Its calm water is associated with a natural spring, while the nearby Glass Stream falls as an even sheet. Beyond this corner, more formal avenues give the outing a different character. This version of the first terrenkur retains its own path connections; arrival through Narzan Gallery needs a separate approach. The two particular water features make a satisfying first introduction to Kislovodsk that can fit into an arrival day.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
The pond and its glass-like outlet encourage attention to small Lower Park details easily missed on a hurried climb to the upper viewpoints. The short circuit leaves time to explore the spa town at an unforced pace.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
This is a short city walk, but the selected loop is not wholly step-free: a path connection includes mapped stairs without a ramp. A stroller needs a separately planned bypass, excluded here. Keep dogs on a lead. Reception is based on the park passport; cycling permission for this pedestrian loop is unconfirmed.

Nearby

Narzan Gallery can be visited separately after checking its opening hours. The climb to the Air Temple and the higher terrenkurs lie outside this lower circuit and its short walking allowance.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Arrive at Kislovodsk Railway Station. The park gives a walking approach along Karl Marx Street to Narzan Gallery; then continue separately to the chosen southern Lower Park start. Check train departures and the journey home before travelling.
By car
The official city approach follows the A 157 road to Kislovodsk and the lower entrance beside Narzan Gallery. Walk the final approach to the circuit; do not plan a visitor drive along park avenues.
Parking
The passport identifies city parking beside the Lower Park. Check available spaces, charges and permitted storage time locally; a walking approach to the start remains necessary. Parking beside the pond itself is unconfirmed.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Time for the route 35–50 min
With stops | 1–1.5 h This editorial allowance covers the selected Lower Park loop, including a short return at a path connection. The park’s 30–40 minutes describe its shorter standard terrenkur. Walking from the station, entering the gallery and extra branches require separate time.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
The park can be visited in different seasons. Choose a day without ice or heavy rain for this circuit; winter requires a separate check of the stairs and waterside surface. Spring growth and autumn leaves change the water-feature setting without an outing to the upper park.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
Comfortable footwear with a non-slip sole.
A small water supply and clothing suited to the weather.
Rain protection; in winter, traction and extra time for a safe bypass.
