Route description

From the road near Wodogrzmoty, a forest path descends to Roztoka hut. It offers a brief departure from the flow of Morskie Oko visitors and a chance to meet one of the Polish Tatras’ older mountain bases. The hut is associated with Wincenty Pol, with a history reaching back to the early development of organised mountain travel here. The passage ends beside its building in Stara Roztoka. Check services ahead if you intend to eat or stay overnight. Returning to the valley road requires climbing back; the waterfall-viewing bridge lies away from this short connector.
