Route description

The descent from Polana Kopieniec leads to Toporowa Cyrhla on the edge of Zakopane. Pause on the meadow to take in the setting beneath Kopieniec, where the mountain landscape has long been linked with pastoral life. The path then enters woodland, exchanging open ground for nearby trunks and bends in the trail. It makes an appealing finish to an outing around Kopieniec when you want a woodland return towards town. The summit can remain a separate objective: this section starts below it.

A published bus direction serves Cyrhla, but the starting meadow requires a walking approach. Children need care on the descent and footwear for stones and roots. Ordinary TPN rules prohibit dogs, and this is not a permitted cycling trail. Coverage is unconfirmed.

Nearby

Wielki Kopieniec rises above the meadow on a separate ascent and is outside this descent. Continuing towards Olczyska also needs a separate trail choice and time allowance. Check current transport when finishing in Toporowa Cyrhla and returning to Zakopane.
