Route description

From Polana Strążyska, the path returns towards Zakopane along the valley beneath Giewont’s north wall. Old shepherd buildings and the Sfinks boulder remain at the meadow, while farther down the Kominy Strążyskie rock towers draw attention. A memorial to Czech writer Edward Jelinek adds a human chapter to the Tatra landscape. Descending gives time to notice these stops among the woodland and stream. The return lets the meadow visit unfold gradually before reaching the town’s outskirts.

Nearby

Siklawica lies beyond Polana Strążyska on a separate approach, outside this descent. Sarnia Skała requires a separate ascent through Czerwona Przełęcz. Giewont’s north wall can be seen from the meadow, but the summit is not visited here.

С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
