Route description

Walk the older Snowfields to Waterfalls descent only after the resort confirms the entire line: its separate opening is not established by the current list. From Aibga’s upper area, it heads towards the southern woodland and finishes on the viewing approach to Chervonny. The transition from open mountain ground to water gives the outing character without needing every Mendelikha cascade. Pause on the permitted path near the fall and finish with its sound and local legend.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
After access is agreed, this descent offers a gradual change of scene: upper slopes, woodland shade and a definite stop at Chervonny. The older name recalls snow patches, but their presence is not guaranteed every season. The confirmed finale is the waterfall; the rest of Mendelikha can remain a separate outing on open paths.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - With caution With a dog - No data By bike - No With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data Arrange a separate approach to the high start and a permitted exit from the fall to an operating lift. Children need to handle a sustained mountain descent with adults. Dog admission and mobile coverage over the complete older version are unconfirmed. Hunting dog breeds are prohibited in the national park; the park recommends leaving other pets at home too. Check any additional rules for the specific outing with the operator.

Nearby

Golden, Chara, Aya and the other Mendelikha cascades belong to a separate park extension. They are not included in this descent to Chervonny. At review, the Mendel branch awaits reopening; agree any additional walk around the currently open paths and lift schedule.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 125 м.
SurfaceDirt 100%.
Риски Wind, fog and residual snow can affect upper ground; lower down, damp paths and a sustained descent require attention. The older name does not authorise entering snowfields or making hillside shortcuts. Set out only after the whole line is confirmed. Stay inside barriers at the waterfall and arrange the onward lift approach in advance.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 1 h 51 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Allow about three to four hours with pauses for this specific descent towards Chervonny. Add the high-start approach and the exit from the fall to Edelweiss separately. Reserve a full daylight day only after access and the final lift ascent are confirmed. Do not automatically add the whole waterfall park. Overnight stays on resort walking trails are prohibited.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Choose a snow-free summer or early autumn day after the resort agrees this older descent. Snow patches vary by year and are not a guaranteed feature. Rain and fog make the passage harder; Edelweiss operation determines a workable day plan.
