Route description

This Čez Prag section begins beside Triglavska Bistrica and climbs the rocky Prag threshold to Begunjski Spring. The Vrata Valley quickly falls below: rocky passages, scree and protected sections require sustained attention. The protected mountain passage is the main destination, with the spring at the ending providing a recognisable landmark before continuing. This is only the mountain section of a broader Triglav approach. Add arrival from the valley, onward travel to a hut and the return separately. Triglav summit is outside this section. PZS describes Čez Prag as a very demanding protected path; the short extent of this particular section does not make it suitable for beginners.
