Route description

This cycling approach leaves Mojstrana for Kosmač Pass and the Kot Valley. Village streets and Triglavska Bistrica come first, followed by a wooded road climbing to the saddle and entering the quieter valley. Kot forms an independent destination here; continuing to high mountain huts or Triglav is optional and requires another programme. The passage ends in the wooded valley, so arrange the return to Mojstrana separately. It follows the initial side of the published Kot–Krma cycling direction rather than the complete neighbouring-valley circuit. Use a bicycle suited to unpaved ground and control speed on descents. Walking is possible, although it requires a different timing plan.
