Route description

The cycling direction from Kranjska Gora to Rateče follows the valley beside the former railway corridor. Sava Dolinka accompanies part of the passage, while Rateče gives the ride a heritage ending: Holy Spirit Church and the Josip Lavtižar Monument can be viewed from the village street. The valley setting leaves room for these pauses without a high mountain ascent. This version repeats passages and ends in Rateče. It is wider than the short ordinary one-way section and does not include a complete return. Pedestrians also use the cycle path; slow near people and junctions. Zelenci Lake requires a separate approach from the main path, so plan its shore walk independently.
