Route description

This internal crossing begins already beside Psenodakh Lake. After the shore-side portion, the path climbs to Fisht-Oshten Pass, actually crosses its saddle and descends towards Fisht Shelter’s exterior approach. Lake and pass offer different natural settings: mountain water in its basin and an open link between parts of the massif. The selected finish is on the approach side, excluding shelter entry, accommodation or food. Reach Psenodakh first by an independent permitted mountain approach, then prearrange onward travel or return after the descent. A mapped descending water crossing needs a present-level check. The larger 30Vpage limits online starts to October 1; agree this separate internal passage with the reserve. A general autumn open-directions announcement does not authorize an arbitrary outing.

Nearby

Fisht Shelter is near the outside finish; arrange admission, food or an overnight stay separately. The Defenders of the Caucasus memorial requires its own permitted pass-side approach. Oshten, Fisht and Pshekha-Su ascents or glacier outings are independent mountain tasks excluded here.
