Route description

This woodland programme explores two sides of the older Medoveyevka to Krasnaya Polyana direction. The western passage visits the Medoveyevka side and the named Krasnopolyanka and Varkholomeev watercourses. A separate eastern approach reaches Monashka, Efremov Viewpoint, the geographer’s memorial stone and the Kunitsinskaya Fortress archaeological site. In clear weather, the viewpoint overlooks Krasnaya Polyana and the surrounding mountain groups. A pedestrian connection between the selected passages is unconfirmed. Plan independent visits with separate arrival and return instead of attempting an unfamiliar link. Ask the reserve about present admission to the older direction: its published page contains a notice with an expired date, while separate orders establish opening of the complete programme. A historical description does not provide permission to travel today.
