Route description

From the forest side of Hungerburg, this path gradually links Arzler Alm, Rumer Alm and the eastern Nordkette pasture slopes. Forest roads and walking paths give way to Vintlalm’s open meadows, then an exterior stop at Thaurer Alm. Continue to Törl Col and cross towards upper Halltal. The selected line finishes on the approach to the former Herrenhäuser mining area; building visits and the final valley descent remain separate. Repeated forest branches in the lower portion need an agreed sequence. Kaisersäule stands on an independent spur that this variant does not follow. This is a sustained crossing between different mountain sides, with return arrangements and restaurant opening relevant before the start.

Children need experience on long mountain walks. Cycling is prohibited on part of the walking paths; narrow ascents prevent stroller use. Dog rules and continuous reception are unconfirmed.

Nearby

Kaisersäule needs a separate spur from the upper meadows; its monument is not visited here. Herrenhäuser and Rupperti Chapel require an extension beyond the selected finish. Deeper Halltal exploration or former mining areas need independently chosen permitted places.
