Route description

This variant starts at a woodland junction above Hungerburg and follows paths towards Arzler Alm. Uneven Amarellersteig passages and broader forest roads give the walk different rhythms; several branches return over familiar ground. Stop outside Arzler Alm before continuing, with a meal planned only for an operating day. The outing then turns towards Hungerburg, passes beside St Theresa’s Church and finishes near Steigerruhe Viewpoint. It is a more branched walk than the standard Sebastian Kandler running circuit, with different forest start and finish points. Frescoes inside the church and any further ascent to other alpine farms need separate plans.
