Route description

From Auland’s edge, the outing follows a woodland road towards upper Leiblfing. Its main passage descends and returns along the familiar way: trees, bends and small changes of slope gradually reveal the Niederbach valley from another side. The road crosses Reither Bach through a culvert. Pause beside the watercourse while remaining on the road, then continue towards the lower turning point. The forest feels different on the return: effortless downhill movement gives way to a calmly paced climb. The outing suits walkers wanting time between the Tyrolean plateau and lower valley without an extra summit ascent. Choose Hochleithenkopf viewpoint or Wildsee shore independently; this woodland return does not reach them.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainДанные по набору высоты уточняются.
SurfaceFine gravel 95%, Asphalt 5%.
Риски Some forest-road sections are steep; conserve energy and water for the returning climb. Rain makes gravel and bends slippery. Stay away from the culvert and do not treat nearby Kalter See as an established shore visit. Follow local instructions during forestry work.
