Route description

From Ivan Do the path enters the interior of Durmitor through Katun Lokvice. The lower approach retains the woodland character of the Žabljak surroundings; pastoral meadows then appear between rocky slopes. Pause at Lokvice to see how the small settlement fits into its mountain bowl. Beyond it, the path heads through the Biljegov Do and Valoviti Do approaches towards upper Gornja Ališnica, north of Velika Struga. This is a walk to a high mountain boundary with a return arranged in advance. Rbatina summits and the Ice Cave remain separate objectives rather than included stops.
