Route description

From Psia Trawka clearing, the black road gradually climbs through the wooded Sucha Woda valley towards Murowaniec. Stones lie underfoot and trees remain around you for much of the ascent; the open mountain setting appears near the hut approach. Murowaniec’s granite building recalls the effort involved in constructing mountain bases before modern cableways. The ascent turns nearby, so add a short approach to inspect the hut itself. The walk then returns to Psia Trawka along the same road, letting you examine familiar forest sections from the downhill direction.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainДанные по набору высоты уточняются.
SurfaceGravel 82%, Paving stones 16%.
Риски Wet stones, tired legs on the return descent and cyclists sharing the road are the main concerns. Avoid cutting bends across forest slopes. Snow and ice require preparation different from an ordinary summer walk; check the park notice first.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Time for the route 3–4 h outward and return
With stops | 4–5 h The allowance includes walking from Psia Trawka to the Murowaniec approach and returning along the same road. It is an outward-and-return walk, not a circuit of different valley sides. The Brzeziny approach and final descent to the roadside entrance are excluded; allow 1 day of walking with additional time for those lower sections.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Dry snow-free days with ample daylight suit the walking outing. Autumn leaves can conceal wet stone. Winter travel along this forest road should not automatically be treated as equal in difficulty to summer walking.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
Grippy footwear and familiar poles if desired.
Rain protection, a warm layer, water and food.
A headlamp and a map covering the Brzeziny approach; the cycling version also needs working brakes and a helmet.
