Route description

From Zaroslyak the yellow direction leads to Nesamovyte, a small lake in a glacial bowl of Chornohora. The wooded approach gradually gives way to low mountain vegetation; higher up the passage reveals slopes beneath Dantsezh and Turkul. At the shore, the lake feels intimate: water fills only a small part of the wider mountain bowl. Take an unhurried pause while leaving shoreline plants intact. The walk finishes at the northern water approach, requiring a separate return journey. Turkul summit lies away from it and is an optional independent objective rather than an automatic continuation.

SurfaceImproved surface 19%, Dirt 1%, Unknown 81%.
Риски Mud and wet stones may affect the forest approach; above the trees, wind and deteriorating visibility become concerns. Use permitted paths rather than trampling shoreline plants. Avoid adding a spontaneous Turkul ascent after the long approach; retain energy for walking back.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Time for the route 3–4 h to the lake
With stops | 6–8 h including return The first allowance covers the selected yellow passage from Zaroslyak to Nesamovyte. The second includes a shore pause and the return walk. Fit groups can plan 1 day of walking; a family outing can be divided over 2 days only after arranging a permitted overnight stay. Turkul and Hoverla ascents are excluded.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Snow-free conditions with a settled forecast are preferable. Prolonged rain leaves the forest approach wet, and cold lakeside wind is possible in summer. Check high mountain conditions even when Zaroslyak is warm.

What to bring
