Route description

The Koreiz descent begins on the Ai-Petri side, where Airplane Pine spreads its unusual crown above the mountain slope. Pause by Voronya Rock to examine the limestone walls and southern coastal side. The walk then changes its focus: upper viewpoints give way to a woodland path, bends in the slope and springs with their own names. Miskhor Grotto remains a detail of the upper approach that can be appreciated from its accessible side. This variant goes downhill and uses a particular lower branch, so it does not reproduce the standard Miskhor ascent in every detail. Arrange arrival at the upper beginning, descent and return to your accommodation as one journey. The official Koreiz Trail requires an instructor-guide; confirm beforehand that this branch belongs to the agreed outing. A short walk still calls for attention on stones and beside drops.

By car
Agree delivery to the upper Ai-Petri side and collection after the descent. The official passport relates the upper end to Bakhchisaray Highway and the cable-station area. Check current highway access beforehand; a vehicle does not follow the walking trail.
Parking
The passport lists parking at the lower Ai-Petri visitor centre and near the upper cable station. Choose vehicle storage according to collection after descending, then confirm current operation and space. Published parking does not establish a guaranteed place at this branch’s lower end.
