Route description

From Tolmachyovo, this forest circuit reaches the upper side of the Yashera canyon. Suburban and woodland paths come first, followed by pine surroundings that define much of the outing. Beside the river, the walk reaches a clearing above a steep slope. Pause here to see the Yashera between trees and notice the sudden change in an otherwise lowland forest. Return follows different woodland paths towards Tolmachyovo’s station side. This variant specifically reaches the upper canyon approach. White cliffs and cave openings are known at river level, but a separate safe descent and interior entry are unestablished as part of this walk. Trees and slope position restrict the clearing’s view; complete inspection of the rock-lined bank is unpromised. Enjoy the forest day and a concrete river-side destination without trying to reach every opening in the cliff.
