Route description

From Dibuny, the outing first follows the woodland side of the Lenin Trail, meets the Chyornaya River and reaches Sestroretsky Razliv. It then continues along eastern and southern shore-side passages towards Tarkhovka. Pine surroundings gradually give way to water and more open ground, revealing a side of Razliv beyond a brief stop at the museum pavilion. The historical name recalls 1917, but this variant is an independent walk between two railway directions. It passes the Shalash museum area without a confirmed visit to the granite monument, Green Office or exhibition. The actual passage includes the women’s anti-aircraft battery memorial, then a Lenin sculpture and Hammer and Sickle stele near its conclusion. Finish is beside Tarkhovka; arrange travel back to Dibuny separately.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
For confident prolonged walking. Supervise children beside water and road crossings. Part of the walk enters Sestroretsk Marsh Reserve, which prohibits walking domestic animals. The museum recommends cycling the Lenin Trail, but full woodland-and-shore access for bicycles or strollers in this version is unconfirmed.

Nearby

Shalash museum, the granite monument and Green Office require a separate visit from the waterside road. Check grounds access, admission and exhibition hours with the museum; this variant does not establish visits to its buildings. Saray museum in Razliv and the marsh trail from Beloostrov belong to other outings.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Dibuny and Tarkhovka are actual railway places for departure and completion. The operator confirms them on directions from Finlyandsky Station: Dibuny lies on the Vyborg side and Tarkhovka on the Sestroretsk side. Check exact stopping patterns and return times beforehand. A short local approach remains between the finish and Tarkhovka platform.
By car
For this linear outing, arrange a roadside drop-off at Dibuny and a meeting in Tarkhovka. Returning to the same vehicle requires a separate journey. Continue woodland passages on foot; the Shalash museum’s road approach does not replace Dibuny departure.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Identify lawful vehicle standing and a way back from Tarkhovka before travelling. A separate museum approach establishes no conditions at this chosen departure.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainДанные по набору высоты уточняются.
SurfaceAsphalt 47%, Compacted dirt 31%, Dirt 6%, Unknown 16%.
Риски Woodland can be muddy and the waterside slippery or windy. Use existing authorised crossings; avoid entering fast roads or railway lines. At the Chyornaya River, use the bridge passage instead of substituting a ford. Avoid flooded shoreline during high water, without bypassing through water or onto ice.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 4 h 1 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
Allow approximately 4–5 hours for this linear pedestrian variant and shore-side pauses. This is an editorial estimate; a separate museum visit and guided tour require further time. Add arrival, the final platform approach and train waiting separately.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Snow-free conditions make forest ground and safe shore-side passages easier to judge. Summer requires insect protection, while shoulder seasons need rain and Razliv wind protection. Leave a daylight margin in autumn. Winter paths do not guarantee ice-free shoreline footing; travelling on the waterbody is excluded.
