Route description

In Novo-Kavgolovskoye Forest Park, a fairy-tale theme adds another dimension to a woodland outing. From the roadside entrance this selected walk reaches Fairy Tale Meadow, continues to Svetloye Lake and returns through the woods via Devil’s Bridge and the Hut site. Combine a shore pause with a short journey among wooden fairy-tale places. Fairy Tale Meadow connects Toksovo’s forest-park history with the work of local environmental volunteers. Recall familiar stories at the Hut, then experience a change in the path’s character on the suspension bridge. Examine wooden structures and current restrictions before using the permitted passage. Choose the compact loop for a family outing or an unhurried woodland-lake walk. Returning to the same roadside entrance leaves time for photographs and conversation. Organised activities, admission to other park complexes and visiting bison are separate plans, unnecessary for enjoying this day.

Without a car
The operator confirms Finland Station to Toksovo railway arrival. Project creators describe an independent approach from the station through the settlement side, Gagarina Street and the roadside by the Toksovo-Rappolovo highway. This substantial approach is outside the selected loop. Check an authorised railway crossing, safe roadside passage and return timetable beforehand. A bus directly to the entrance is unconfirmed.
By car
The roadside entrance is on the Toksovo-Rappolovo highway, opposite the Izumrudnoye Lake side. The creators identify arrival from Toksovo or the Sortavala highway through the Toksovo turn. Continue on foot; woodland paths and the suspension bridge are not vehicle access. The loop returns to its selected entrance.
Parking
Parking is mapped at the selected Forest Tales roadside entrance and matched to the project creators’ directions. Check current signs, permitted use and space availability before travelling. Charges, capacity and security are unestablished. The neighbouring leisure centre’s parking has separate conditions.
