Route description

The longer outing on the Michurinskoye side extends beyond the shorter Petrichenko circuit. It leaves room for Vikhlyay Stream, the Vertunok and its watermill remains, and the watersides beside Gniloye, Krugloye and Morozovskoye lakes. Additional branches bring Dolgoye, Tuchkovo and Nizhneye Posadskoye, while Svetloye, Zarossheye, Kharlampovskoye and Okunevoye connect other woodland stops. Goryunets and Kerzhenets add distinct named watercourses; not every woodland name belongs to a lake. Choose one main stop and leave the others according to your energy, keeping attention for the places rather than merely completing long passages. This version includes additional approaches and returns along woodland roads. It does not promise a fully equipped circuit covering every reserve nature trail. Establish permitted passages and crossing conditions, then agree a departure and return location. A quiet exterior look is enough at the former mill; avoid climbing ruins for a closer waterside view. If time runs short, omit a branch instead of seeking a shortcut through bank vegetation.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - With caution With a dog - No data By bike - Partially With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data The longer walk requires experience of sustained movement. Shorten a family outing in advance. Cycling permission on the official Svetloye trail does not establish suitability of every additional branch here.

Nearby

The shorter official Svetloye circuit offers a separate visit to the mill and some lakes. Petyayarvi and its former hydroelectric station lie on another side of the ridge and require their own plan. Do not add an overnight waterside stay without a confirmed authorised location.

Расчётное время в пути 8 h 57 min
