Route description

The long ride from Perlovskaya links suburban streets with woodland passages beside Losiny Ostrov. Its distinctive stopping point is the Vyatichi wooden figures near Yaroslavskoye Highway. The carved shapes evoke an old folk tale, but their origin is modern: they were made during recreational woodland landscaping. Looking at their faces and the patterns in the timber can easily lengthen a planned pause. The rest of the ride makes a broad woodland circuit before returning to Perlovskaya. Keep a whole day free and bring confident cycling skills. Confirm woodland access and suitability beforehand, and explore the sculpture stop on foot.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
The complete loop suits cyclists experienced in long independent outings. Check whether all woodland passages permit and suit cycling under current national-park rules; dismount where riding is prohibited or impractical. A short visit to the wooden figures can be planned separately with children. Full-route dog and stroller access are unconfirmed.

Nearby

Losiny Ostrov ecological centres require separate visits beyond this loop, with their own tickets, booking and entrance checks. A standalone walk among the wooden figures is another option if you prefer a longer sculpture visit to a complete cycling day.
