Route description

Tolstolap near Fryazino is a woodland cycling network with its own vocabulary of names: Chervotochina, Leshy, Samurai, Saxophone and the northern Wild sections. A southern approach gradually reaches the central woods, where branches divide and meet again; further on, choose an eastern or northern continuation. This is a place for attentive riding among trees: a cyclist’s first-hand account describes a winding trail with roots and a fatbike intent. Junctions let you select an outing for your experience, but decide the branch sequence before starting. The Quarantine section lies separately to the southwest, with its own connection to the main area to arrange. Come for woodland riding and an introduction to local trail culture after checking the present condition of your chosen sections.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
For cyclists experienced with narrow woodland trails, roots and branch choices. The primary intent concerns MTB and fatbikes; the source describes narrow wheels as a difficult winter option. A branch named Children’s does not establish child suitability of the entire network. Dog conditions and continuous reception are unconfirmed. Do not plan the full woodland passage with a stroller.

Nearby

Woodland lakes around Fryazino can form a separate extension after checking a specific approach; a visit to Lake Chyornoye or Lake Dvukhkoshachye is unestablished here. The Road to Radonezh and Road to the Lavra belong to other sections of the author’s extended outing. Their churches, rivers and estate stops are outside this Tolstolap network’s sights.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 3 h 54 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
A confirmed total duration for the chosen outing is unavailable. Build a one-day plan around your branches: the southern approach, central junctions, eastern or northern continuation and return to an agreed exit. Add separate delivery and the Quarantine connection if choosing that section. Covering every alternative needs additional returns; do not treat the entire network as one circuit.

Best time to go

Choose a day after checking the ground and your selected woodland branches. Wetness and roots affect riding ease. The winter intent chiefly concerns fatbikes; confirm present snow passage separately. Individual shared skiing sections do not establish a prepared ski trail throughout the network.
