Route description

Starting at Zvenigorod’s Mayakovskogo Quarter, this cycling circuit introduces Pochtovy Pond and the contrasting village and urban sides of Suponevo. It then heads towards Ershovo. The most substantial stop is Trinity Church: the present building was recreated after its predecessor’s wartime destruction. Viewing the exterior connects a ride outside town with the village’s history, without requiring a complete estate tour. The northern continuation follows country roads towards Funkovo, before the eastern portion reaches the Central Ring Road and returns to urban Suponevo. The ride changes character here: a substantial road connection runs beside motor traffic rather than along a continuous recreational cycleway. Establish bicycle permission and a safe way through before setting out. If these are unconfirmed, select a separately checked lawful connection or finish early; an unrestricted complete circuit cannot yet be promised.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
See Pochtovy Pond and Ershovo’s Trinity Church, whose history combines wartime remembrance with the village’s recovery. The northern country portion adds distance and changing settlements. The idea suits experienced cyclists prepared to settle the road-side return beforehand; a shorter independent Ershovo outing provides another way to enjoy the church stop.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Without a car - Hard With children - No With a dog - No data By bike - Partially With a stroller - No Mobile signal - No data The full plan requires experience among motor traffic. Bicycle permission and a safe return beside the Central Ring Road are unconfirmed, so choose the whole circuit only after separate checks or an altered connection. It is unsuitable for a children’s ride or stroller outing. Dog accompaniment and reception throughout remain unknown.

Nearby

Ershovo Estate is beside the village portion, but visiting its internal paths, park and buildings needs separate checks with the owner. An estate sign does not establish an included entrance. Belyana Stream is crossed on the Central Ring Road portion; no separate safe waterside stopping area is confirmed, so do not plan a bridge stop. Mozzhinka beside the town return is not represented here by a confirmed accessible bank. Zvenigorod’s historic centre and museum visits belong to a separate continuation of the day.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
The departure is at Mayakovskogo Quarter bus stop in Zvenigorod, rather than the railway station. Check the required service and bicycle carriage with the operator: a bus stop does not guarantee space for a bicycle. If taking a train to Zvenigorod, separately prepare a permitted cycling approach from the station to the quarter. The return service depends on the chosen ending if you change the road connection.
By car
Reach the town side of Mayakovskogo Quarter in Zvenigorod and arrange a lawful drop-off clear of the bus-stop area. This is the circuit’s departure and intended return point. An early finish needs separately arranged collection on a permitted local road. Service roads, closed entrances and estate property are not automatically available for support vehicles.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Check where a car may lawfully remain near Mayakovskogo Quarter during the ride. Keep bus stops, courtyard entrances and church gates clear; establish estate parking conditions separately.

What to expect

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 38 м.
SurfaceAsphalt 87%, Compacted dirt 1%, Unknown 13%.
Риски The key condition for the complete return is independently establishing current bicycle permission and a safe lawful passage beside the Central Ring Road. Free motor-vehicle passage does not establish bicycle permission. Use a separately checked connection or finish early if this remains unresolved; do not enter the carriageway merely to close the circuit. Account for vehicles on country roads, and follow current traffic directions and permitted crossings in town. Dismount beside the pond and church, giving pedestrians priority. Do not bypass closed service-road or estate gates.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 2 h 6 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
The complete circuit time is unestablished. Keep part of the day free for pond and church stops, country roads and the previously chosen lawful return. Finish planning the safe connection before departure rather than after reaching the motor road. A day-by-day plan is not established. A shortened Ershovo visit needs separately assessed approaches and timing.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Choose dry, cool weather and daylight. Exposed roads require water and sun protection in heat; rain reduces grip and visibility to drivers. Ice and snow substantially change road conditions. Season does not remove the need to confirm permission and a safe Central Ring Road return.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода

Helmet and visible clothing
Front and rear lights
Pump and spare tube or repair kit
Your own water and snacks
