Route description

The Radonezh ski loop with a western spur returns you to the same railway halt after a substantial western outing. A shared eastern approach first reaches the loop, whose northern side leads progressively further from Radonezh. In the west, this version adds a separate spur to follow out and back before continuing. The southern side meets the Yakhroma and turns the ski day east again. The finishing platform approach differs from the beginning, so plan the return around your own exit. Choose this independent version for a large western arc, a river pause and the convenience of one passenger halt, after checking present clearance and the river connection.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
For experienced independent skiers checking western connections, snow conditions and the river passage. Complete suitability for children, dogs and bicycles is unestablished. Do not plan the entire ski loop with a stroller; continuous reception is unconfirmed.

Nearby

The Kalistovo version has another beginning, while the Abramtsevo direction and Pestovskoye family have other continuations. Their gathering places, springs and water sections are not automatically added to this loop. Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve and historic Radonezh village require separate cultural trips; a ski direction’s name does not establish a visit.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Arrive at passenger Radonezh halt on the Yaroslavsky direction. Choose your own authorised platform approach to the beginning; after returning, use a separate approach from the ending to the same halt. Check present train calls and working passenger passages. The historic village of the same name is not this starting railway halt.
By car
Agree drop-off near the Radonezh passenger approach and collection on the same station side after returning. Starting and finishing approaches differ, so choose the meeting place beforehand. Direct access to the western spur and river section is unconfirmed.
Parking
Parking is unconfirmed. Ask whether a car may remain at your selected passenger approach for the entire ski day. Agree group drop-off and a longer vehicle stay separately.

What to expect

Places
Yakhroma on the southern side of the loop — The river location lies on the southern side of the western loop, before returning to the shared eastern continuation. Check present authorised passage separately.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 474 м.
SurfaceDirt 55%, Dirt / grass 8%, Unknown 37%.
Риски Check present clearance along the northern and southern sides of the western loop and shared eastern continuation. The western spur requires returning along the same passage; do not treat it as an exit towards another finish. At the Yakhroma, assess an authorised current crossing: a working bridge, safe ford and ice are unconfirmed. Short turns beside the river belong to one location rather than two separate crossings. Choose authorised passenger passages to the halt at the ends.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 6 h 5 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
A confirmed total duration for the one-day outing is unavailable. Include the shared eastern approach, northern side of the western loop, separate out-and-back, Yakhroma section and eastern return. Add the different starting and finishing passenger approaches. The shared passage and western spur require repeated movement; keep your own reserve before the chosen train.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
The independent ski intent needs settled snow and checked present passage. A thaw changes the decision at the Yakhroma and open connections. Historical volunteer work does not establish today’s preparation of the entire loop. Complete summer walking or bicycle suitability of this version is separately unconfirmed.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
