Route description

The old circle from Morozki preserves the geography of ski outings that linked woodland clearings with Gerasimikha, the Radonezh direction and the Khlyby area. A specific Yakhroma path bridge lies on the northern Khlyby passage, providing a small riverside stopping place during the extended winter outing. The historic alignment then returns towards Morozki through the western woodland surroundings. Choose it today with an understanding of changed conditions: its author warns of development and impassable places, including beside Khlyby. The entire circle cannot be treated as a ready current outing. If this skiing history interests you, begin with a separately confirmed accessible passage and give it time, without forcing completion of the former circle.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
This archived ski circle has author-reported impassable sections, so a complete independent outing is not currently recommended. Prepared groups should use only separately confirmed accessible parts. Full-circle family use and continuous bicycle or stroller passage are unconfirmed.

Nearby

The Khlyby spring requires a separate approach beyond this northern passage; current access and water quality are unconfirmed. Visiting historic Radonezh village also needs a separate plan: the skiing direction’s name does not mean the village is included.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 542 м.
SurfaceDirt 18%, Asphalt 10%, Dirt / grass 8%, Unknown 59%.
Риски The principal concern is the author’s explicit warning of impassable places caused by changed surroundings. Do not bypass fences through private property or replace a bridge crossing with uncertain ice. Establish a permitted accessible section first, then its timing and return. Current skiing maintenance and club refreshments are unconfirmed.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Time for the route 7–9 h
With stops | 9–12 h This is an effort estimate for 1 day of skiing for the historical complete ski circle, not a promise of present passage. The author reports impassable sections. Agree an accessible part, its return and its own timing before choosing a date; a complete confirmed bypass scheme is unavailable.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
For an accessible ski section, choose established snow and suitable weather after a local check. Thawing, deep fresh snow and poor light complicate independent outings. A historic winter trip date does not establish current preparation.

What to bring

Базовый список для комфортного похода
