Route description

This walk through Biryulyovo Dendropark links its ponds with paths through the historical collection. Begin near the water, pause by the little Hobbit House installation and then look more closely at the plantings between avenues. Walking suits the park’s small details without the distraction of riding speed. The Big and Round Ponds provide quiet pauses, while the Japanese Pavilion adds another memorable corner. Follow current park navigation between avenues and stay outside fenced works areas. Choose this outing to discover the arboretum through small identifiable places beyond its main entrance.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
With children, walk slowly and keep away from pond edges. This walking programme covers several sections; a neighbouring cycle path does not establish permissions or continuous access for bicycles and strollers. Dog conditions and mobile coverage have not been confirmed.

Nearby

Northern arboretum paths can form a separate addition if time and access allow. Tsaritsyno’s architectural monuments need their own approach into the historic park; its palaces and pavilions lie beyond this botanical outing.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Use the Biryulyovsky Dendropark stop and the operating underpass by the main entrance. Metro construction has changed the usual approach from Lipetskaya Street. Another accessible entrance is near the Elevatornaya Street stop; walk separately from the gate to the start of your chosen path. Check the current bus number and timetable before travelling.
By car
Two lanes on the park side of Lipetskaya Street are closed for works. Follow current signs to a permitted stopping place outside the park, then enter on foot through an operating gate. The recreational path is not a vehicle access road.
Parking
No dedicated car park at the start of this version has been verified. Follow current street signs and construction barriers; keep park entrances and pedestrian approaches clear.
