Route description

Reserve Forest at Losinaya Biostantsiya introduces the meeting of woodland and the Upper Yauza Wetlands. Wooden boardwalk makes it possible to examine birch, conifers and wet ground without entering the vegetation. Beside the eastern loop, the boundary of the named wetland area reaches the walking passage. Move slowly, pause at interpretation panels and listen for birds; beaver, deer or elk encounters are never assured. Woodland passages and the small loop occupy different parts of the trail, so use the centre’s map to choose their order and return to the correct entrance. The current park page allows individual exploration without a guide.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Keep children close on the boardwalk and beside water. This is a walking outing; uninterrupted stroller access across every branch is unconfirmed. Pets are forbidden in the ecological complex. With unreliable internet, save the approach map and arrange another payment method beforehand.

Nearby

The ornithological pontoon trail visits another part of the wetland complex and has its own visiting arrangements. The animal enclosure is also beyond this woodland walk and requires separate admission.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
The park lists service 1333 from VDNKh or service 3 from Perlovskaya railway station to 4th Parkovaya Street, then a walk. Confirm the current service and required entrance; the stop is not beside the eastern loop.
By car
The ecological complex visitor address is Kropotkinsky Proezd, Mytishchi. Confirm entry arrangements with the biostation; a vehicle approach to the centre does not permit driving along the woodland trail.
Parking
The complex offers visitor parking as a separate paid service. Check availability and payment before travel; admission and individual excursions have separate arrangements.

Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 15 м.
SurfaceТип покрытия пока не определён.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Time for the route 1–1.5 h
With stops | 1.5–2 h The allowance covers woodland passages, the eastern loop and return to a permitted entrance. Check the current park map for the connections between parts. Add the bus-stop approach and any separately arranged enclosure visit.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
Choose daylight and conditions in which the boardwalk is open and safe. Spring and autumn change the woodland and wetland edge, but particular bird or animal encounters are not guaranteed. Check the biostation’s operation before travel; Monday is listed as a closure day.

What to bring
