Route description

This woodland walk approaches Rock Summit 1068 from the northeast. After a winding climb it reaches the rocks, explores the upper ground and continues farther west. The destination is the rocky summit amid wooded slopes. Both ends lie in the forest: arrange road approaches, your return and a meeting point beforehand. This version does not bring the group back to the start. Upper ground needs secure movement over stones and care near edges. The author’s historical visit confirms the destination but leaves present path condition unverified. Choose clear weather and retain energy for your agreed woodland exit.
