Route description

This approach to Ganalskiye Vostryaki begins on the wooded road side of the Vaktan Malkinsky River. It passes the lower parking areas towards Bochki, beyond which the outing changes into an upper walking ascent with terraces and a rocky ridge. The final section approaches small Lednichok Lake below the mountain walls. This completes the outward version, leaving the return to your selected road meeting ahead. The gradual change from riverside woodland to rocky mountain surroundings gives the outing its character. Peak ascents are separate; arrange the chosen lower approach before travelling.

Yurchik and the main Ganalskiye Vostryaki summit can be seen from the massif side, but their ascents require separate mountain programmes. Preserve the shore and plants, and camp only at an agreed location.

Without a car
Regular services to the forest turn or upper parking areas are unconfirmed. Arrange a separate road-side transfer with an exact return meeting. The onward approach from your drop-off to Bochki depends on the vehicle and forest-road conditions. No separate vehicle exit is established at the lake finish.
By car
The turn is after the Vaktan Malkinsky bridge on the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky–Milkovo road. Follow the forest branch only after assessing vehicle suitability and current surface conditions. If unsuitable, leave the car at the initial agreed location and continue to Bochki on foot or by appropriate transport. A separate mountain path starts beyond Bochki.
Parking
The passport identifies an initial road parking area and Bochki as the final vehicle location. Select between them according to actual access, parking permission and your return plan. Confirm spaces and charges before travelling. Parking closer to the lake is unconfirmed; the lower driving section does not establish vehicle access along the mountain path.
