Route description

The drive to Mayachny follows Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky’s coastal side towards the opening of Avacha Bay into the ocean. Wooded bends alternate with exposed shore sections, and the Three Brothers viewpoint offers a stop opposite the recognisable sea stacks. The final section approaches Mayachny’s coastal guns. Petropavlovsky Lighthouse is nearby, while any visit inside its grounds requires separate arrangements. This version ends on the cape side, leaving the return drive to plan. Choose an open ocean horizon and road conditions that allow a safe journey back.
