Route description

This version approaches Vertical Cape directly from the forest turn on the Mayachny road side. Birch trees and dwarf alder surround the initial passage, then the winding walk opens onto the ocean coast. Its final stop is a viewpoint above the Pacific, where woodland gives way to wind and a broad horizon. The path ends at the coastal outlook, with the return to your drop-off still ahead. It suits walkers who want time beside the ocean and a safe elevated view of the shore.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание
Elevation gainСуммарный набор высоты — 56 м.
SurfaceCompacted dirt 1%, Unknown 100%.
Риски The forest road can have eroded stretches and steep climbs and descents. Rain makes the ground slippery, while wet tall vegetation can obstruct passage. The viewpoint overlooks a cliff-lined ocean coast: avoid descending along the edge or approaching it for photographs. Wind at the exposed finish can feel stronger than in the woodland.
