Route description

Salop is visible from Turochak, but walking to its summit reveals the mountain differently. The wooded ascent gives way to a granite ridge, with the familiar village on one side and the surrounding valleys opening beyond. Pauses along the way let you compare the changing views towards the Biya and Lebed rivers. The rocky summit of Salop is the final goal. Reach it without rushing and keep energy and attention for the return. You come back along the ascent route: places first encountered in the morning become familiar on the descent, giving you another opportunity to pause at a favourite view.
