Route description

On Jyrgalan’s northern edge, the monument Glory to the Miners recalls a village whose working life once centred on a coal mine. It makes a meaningful first stop for seeing Jyrgalan as a mountain settlement with a local history, alongside its newer role as a hiking base. The further version concerns country north of the village. Its complete mountain passage remains unidentified, so discuss actual local paths and the return with a guide before choosing the full outing. This cannot be presented as the Keskenkiya Loop: the established Keskenkiya itinerary lies in another direction.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Public transport to Jyrgalan is confirmed, but the entire northern mountain outing has not been identified. Treat a family visit to the monument separately from the further mountain passage. Suitability of the full line for children, dogs, bicycles and strollers, and its mobile coverage, remain unknown.

Nearby

Char Jon and Turnaluu Kol are separate named walks north of the village and are not established stops on this loop. Kok-Bel Waterfall lies to the east and requires another approach; the first-hand local author notes its seasonality. Tulpar Tash and Eki-Chat belong to the southern direction. Choose a separate plan for each outing.

Time for the route | Not established With stops | Not established The full northern loop duration is not established: published Char Jon, Turnaluu Kol and Keskenkiya plans describe different passages. A multi-day plan for the complete passage has not been established. First choose a specific northern outing and return with a local guide. Plan the village-edge mining monument visit separately; that visit does not establish the length of the further mountain day.
