Route description

Turya Road is currently awaiting reopening in the next summer season; postpone this outing until resumption is confirmed. Once open, the road leads from Nakhazo towards Green Wedge Pass and the Turya mountains. Parts of the walk reveal both sides of Aibga and the Mzymta and Psou valleys. The named pass gives the outing a clear destination for a mountain pause before returning by the agreed path, without continuing independently beyond the authorised trail.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
After reopening, Turya Road offers a view of Aibga from the mountain camp side and a definite goal at Green Wedge Pass. The gradual change between the ridge’s two sides is the attraction: clear weather reveals the surrounding valleys in stages, and the pass brings them into one scene.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 1 h 30 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
After reopening, allow three to four hours towards Green Wedge Pass with stops and about two and a half to three hours back to Nakhazo. The passport gives two hours fifty minutes outward and two hours ten minutes back, excluding access to the camp. Reserve a separate full walking day. If approaching from Rosa Peak, arrange a permitted camp overnight or another operator-confirmed plan rather than assuming every section combines into an easy outing.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
The passport gives June to October, but the current resort list announces return in the next summer season without a confirmed date. After reopening, choose stable, clear weather and ask about snow, road conditions and permitted return hours.
