Route description

The Yuryev Khutor cirque may be visited only with a guide from Rosa Khutor’s Active Recreation Centre. This mountain bowl beneath Aibga resembles an amphitheatre, enclosed by steep slopes on three sides; sheltered patches sometimes retain snow into late summer. After time in the cirque, this version descends to the Tundra and Driada interchange. The contrast between pale snow and summer greenery gives the visit its character before the walk returns towards the forest belt.

Route at a glance

Главное за минуту
Yuryev Khutor offers a close look at a mountain cirque during an organised outing. Its bowl shape, hillside shadows and possible summer snow patches draw attention beyond the wider view of Aibga. A resort guide helps set a comfortable pace and keeps the visit within the permitted trail.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
Access is restricted to a guided resort excursion. Children may attend with adults but need to cope with the uphill approach and descent. The trail passport warns of possible gaps in mobile coverage. Dog admission is unconfirmed. Hunting dog breeds are prohibited in the national park; the park recommends leaving other pets at home too. Check any additional rules for the specific outing with the operator.

Nearby

Labyrinth and Hundred Firs branch separately from the lift interchange. They are additional outings rather than continuations from the upper cirque, with their own timing and opening checks. Discuss any combination with the guide, particularly when the lifts are close to finishing for the day.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car

By car
Drive to the resort in Esto-Sadok and agree the meeting place with the Active Recreation Centre. Private vehicles do not provide access to the upper bowl; the guide arranges the onward approach through open paths and operating lifts.
Parking
P 1, P 3 and P 6 are confirmed official car parks in Rosa Dolina; check charges and conditions for your excursion date. The trail passport prohibits vehicle parking directly at its starting point.
