Route description

The complete old Blue variant is not confirmed as an authorised itinerary. For a visit today, choose the park’s approved Nature, the Great Sculptor walk and follow its signs; side branches and rock ascents are outside that itinerary. Among the Central Pillars it is easy to understand why these formations became a symbol of Krasnoyarsk. Elephant Rock beside First Pillar has an almost friendly scale, before a whole gallery of stone figures unfolds. At Grandfather, look for the profile of an old man wearing a hat; Granny and Granddaughter owe their family name to their neighbouring forms. Feathers is particularly unusual, with narrow vertical slabs clustered like a stone fan. Take your time between the rocks, changing your viewpoint and observing them from ground level. This is a rewarding introduction to Stolby’s character without climbing its summits.

Route suitability

Кому будет комфортно
There is a long walking approach from Turbaza and stairs among the rocks. Park rules prohibit pets and bicycles. The rock district is unsuitable for strollers. On the approved walk the park reports reliable Megafon and Yota reception, with other operators unstable; this does not establish coverage on extra branches.

Nearby

A separate path from Pereval leads towards the Narym educational complex. The Book of Nature, White Trail and Protected Siberia trails are at the Central Entrance; these are separate visits, not parts of the Blue walk.

Getting there

Варианты и важные моменты Show on map
Without a car
Travel to Turbaza, then walk along the Laletino road towards Pereval. The park lists buses 19, 50 and 78, plus 80 at weekends; check the current service before travelling. The rock district lies above the city entrance, so the approach is part of the day's effort.
By car
The city approach is at 140 Sverdlovskaya Street, building 5. Continue towards Pereval on foot; vehicle access to the rock district requires prior arrangements with the park's tourism office. A road on a map is not permission to drive it.
Parking
A designated long-stay parking place at this city approach has not been established. Agree a permitted place near Sverdlovskaya Street before travelling. Pereval has a rest area and a service-vehicle stopping place; driving there requires a separate arrangement with the park.

Difficult sections and safety

На что обратить внимание

SurfaceDirt 98%.
Риски Follow the signs of the approved Nature, the Great Sculptor walk. The old Blue variant includes extra branches with no confirmed authorisation. Do not climb rocks. Take care on wet roots, loose stone and ice; give way to service vehicles on the Pereval approach. Temporary fire, bear or hazardous-tree closures override any outing plan.

How much time to allow

Оцените свой темп
Расчётное время в пути 1 h 42 min
С запасом на остановки + 30–60 мин
The park allows 2–2.5 hours for the approved Nature, the Great Sculptor walk from Pereval. That estimate covers the rock district only; allow separately for the approach from the city bus stop and the return. Keep a full day for the outing. The complete old Blue variant has no verified duration, and its extra branches should not be included in the plan.

Best time to go

Сезонность и рекомендации
The park describes the approved Nature, the Great Sculptor walk as available year-round during daylight. Choose dry weather and account for ice in winter and the shoulder seasons. Check temporary park restrictions before travelling. This season information does not authorise the complete old Blue variant.
