Route description

Since 11 September 2026, trails from the Eastern Entrance have been closed because of bear activity; visitors may stay only in Granite Quarry. Plan a walk after the park officially lifts the restriction. The Orange Trail leads towards China Wall, a rock formation whose outline lives up to its name. Intersecting cracks resemble masonry, with stone battlements along the top. Its base rewards a patient look as the wall changes shape with each angle. This striking rock is the reason to explore the southern part of Stolby's Takmak district. Once access resumes, use the park's authorised itinerary and keep off the climbing routes.
